Surfing is truly a magical sport.  Sitting in the water by beautiful beaches, soaking up the sun and waiting for the perfect wave, the rush and excitement as you catch the approaching wave, the feeling of floating over the smooth glass-like water.  This is why people are hooked on surfing and travel around the world searching for that perfect wave. 

Rustic Pathways is proud to offer students the opportunity to connect with cool cultures across the world through surfing.  Our surf programs offer students plenty of opportunity to catch some great waves while immersing yourself in the local culture as well.  Also, with our Service and Surf programs, you will have the opportunity to spread positive energy in the local areas around with our meaningful service projects.  These programs are tremendously successful, and students are able to share their intensions and work with the local people, then grab their boards and hit up some surf! 

Our Surf programs are quite different across the world – not just because of the location, but also in structure. Some programs such as the Surf the Summer program in Costa Rica are based at our popular surf house.  Other programs such as the Service and Surf Baja, and Service and Surf Costa Rica, offer an element of service so that you can help benefit the rural communities in the area.   Every year we get a wide range of surfers, from experts who have been in competitions, to beginners who are trying to catch their first waves.  Join us this summer for an unforgettable adventure and great surfing!
